I owe a big thank you to my new friend Sarah at Dwell on Joy for recently giving me the Liebster Award! I found Sarah's blog when I saw one of her recipes on pinterest. No one loves almond flavoring like I do (my husband makes fun of me all the time for it!), so it's no shocker that I was drawn to this recipe. But what I love about her blog is that, in addition to the great photos and delicious food, she shares pieces of herself throughout. My kind of girl!

But back to the award. The Liebster award, which means "beloved" or "favorite" in German, acknowledges and promotes the work of new bloggers (less than 200 followers).

So now I have the privilege of passing the award on the five other bloggers.

Becky at Time Out: Devotionals for Women. I adore her. She manages in her weekly posts to acknowledge the crazy that comes with motherhood but also the tender and pure. I always leave uplifted.

Meg at A Barefoot Day shares the peaks and valleys of parenthood, as well as plenty of pictures of her beautiful home! Love her positive but realistic spin on life.

Jamie at Brown Paper and Strings. This is a faith filled blog by a woman who is willing to dive into her past, and share it all with us! Check out her "Rooted" series. Since I am passionate about writing life stories, this is right up my ally.

Jessica at Quirky Bookworm. If you love to read, check our her many book reviews! All I need to say is—she has a personal collection of 750 books. I don't know how she has time to both read and blog and keep up with her family! (Now that I'm blogging, my literary pursuits seem to have been squeezed out of the lineup!)

Jordan at The Happy Homebodies. You know I can't resist a good home design blog! This girl's got style.
